If the HA#AIDE program manages the help, you must remember that the program calls the HA#RCDOCCL program which supplies the help modification code (Y or N), the name of the help file and the file library.
To find all three pieces of information, the HA#RCDOCCL program searches for the name of the Adelia/400 environment or the name of an Adelia end user in the first 10 characters of the LDA, and retrieves the values specified when it was defined.

Therefore, for the help to work when the programs are running, it is necessary to create an Adelia end user.

In order to define the end user, just start the HA#DUT program (while HA#XRUN is running). The program creates a data area in the HA#USER library; this data area contains the Adelia end user's name. As for help management, only the details relating to the "Doc. source file" and "Help screen modif." are significant.

If the software engineer calls the initial program of the application, you must load the name of the Adelia end user corresponding to the application in the first 10 characters of the LDA.

In addition, if the applications are running on sites other than the development site, you must create an HA#USER library on this site and place the data area corresponding to the end user in it.

The sources of the HA#AIDE and HA#RCDOCCL programs are in the HA#SOURCES file in the HALADEL library, which is supplied with Adelia/400.
