This page lets you set the PC references that are required in order to generate Mobile (MADELIA) programs, and public Visual Adelia Batch and Adelia server (VADELIA and SADELIA) programs for mobile devices.

This page lets you set the PC references that are required in order to generate Mobile (MADELIA) programs, and Visual Adelia Batch and Adelia server (VADELIA and SADELIA) programs that are private within the application area for mobile devices.
Middleware parameters
Data input
IP host name
IP address of the Windows PC on which programs are to be compiled.
IP port
Listening port used by the Adelia daemon running on the PC (generally port 910).
User
Adelia Middleware profile used for the connection (generally HARDISPS).
Password
Password associated with the user (generally HARDISPS).

Confirmation
You must reenter your password to confirm what you previously typed.

Program directories
Name of the directory in which the sources will be placed, and the name of the directory in which the objects will be placed when the Mobile programs are generated.
These directory names must be entered as they are "seen" by the compiling machine.

The graphics parameters of the target platform, and in particular the screen resolution and CE Shell type, are defined in this section.

Screen characteristics
You can use this list to select one of the standard screen characteristics for Windows Mobile devices.
Select "Custom" if you want to manually define the target device's settings.
Graphical interface
This list lets you select the type of graphical interface (Windows CE Shell) used for dialog box layout design.
The list is shaded if predefined settings have been selected.
Data input
Resolution
Resolution (DPI) of the target device's screen. The most common resolutions are 96 (standard resolution), 192 (Pocket PC VGA) and 131 (Smartphone QVGA).
This information is shaded if predefined settings have been selected.
Menu bar height
Height in pixels of the bar displayed in the shell. The most common values are 26 (standard resolution), 52 (Pocket PC VGA) and 20 (Smartphone QVGA).

Screen width
Width in pixels of the target device's screen.
This information is shaded if predefined settings have been selected.
Screen height
Height in pixels of the target device's screen.
This information is shaded if predefined settings have been selected.

Note: This box is only visible if the page is called from the Modify information at logical level dialog box (i.e. if the call is made from an application area rather than the environment).

Undo
This button cancels any changes and returns the application to its previous state.
Default value
This button cancels any changes and returns the application to how it was when the environment was created.
The dialog box is closed by clicking the Close button, (keyboard shortcut: Alt + F4). If any modifications have been made, a confirmation pane will appear, prompting you to save the changes.
Validate
Used to test the validity of the data entered. The wizard initiates a connection with the server, verifies access to the source code directories, then launches a compile test. The program also attempts to automatically detect and configure the Microsoft C compiler (eMbedded Visual C++ 4.0 or .NET 2005 / 2008).
