Warning: Inserting the whole folder in one single operation is only possible when the Word Windows (only valid for version 6.0 or later) or the Lotus Word Pro Windows option was selected as output format in the Print - General page of the Create/Modify a folder dialog box.

The method described below applies to Word 97® for Windows.

Adelia Studio generates instructions for Word macros which will be used to insert the documentation folders automatically in Word® for Windows. It is thus possible to insert all the produced folder's metafiles (*.WMF format) in one single operation.

To do so, the Word Windows option must be selected in the "Destination format" field of the Print - General page of the Create/Modify a folder dialog box.

The procedure is described below:

1. Open Word® for Windows.

2. Create a macro using the Macro option from the Tools menu (Macros sub-option - Create button).

3. In this macro, copy the text from the file generated by Adelia Studio and whose name is made up of the first seven characters of the folder's name followed by:

"6.TXT" for Word® version 6.0;

"7.TXT" for Word® version 7.0.

This file is located in the saving directory specified in the folder's definition.

4. Once the macro has been created, open a Word® document and position the cursor where you want to insert the documentation.

Note: Use the Page Setup option from the File menu ("Margins" tab) in order to define margins adapted to the size of the picture to be inserted. Otherwise, the picture may be scaled down in order to fit it in the Word document.

5. Run the macro using the Macro option from the Tools menu (Macros sub-option - Run button).

Note: If the inserted picture does not fit vertically, choose the Paragraph option from the Format menu ("Indents and Spacing" tab), and select "Single" in the "Line spacing" field.

6. You can display or resize the picture inserted using the Object option from the Format menu ("Picture" or "Size" tab).
    You can thus adjust the size of the picture to the real drawing.
