Graphical adjustment in a Visual Adelia window
When the WINDOW object's ADJUSTMENT property is enabled, resizing the window triggers an automatic adjustment of the position and/or size of the corresponding graphical objects in the window. The graphical adjustment of objects is configured via their HORIZONTAL_ADJUSTMENT and VERTICAL_ADJUSTMENT properties.
Sample adjustment:
Once the user has enlarged the window using the mouse, the list is automatically enlarged (in height and width): its Item code and Item description columns are enlarged. The Quit button is moved to the right, thus maintaining its right-alignment at the end of the list.
Adelia Studio software protection
The Dongle (parallel or USB Smartkey) used to control Adelia Studio licenses can now be replaced by a software license.
You can convert your dongle into a software license key in the license manager. You can also update your software license authorizations, release your license from one machine and assign it to another machine that manages the license.
Visual Web language
You can specify a numerical variable as the Step in the LOADING instruction in order to dynamically modify the load's Step.
The XML_SET_VAL and XML_GET_VAL instructions now accept the use of an IMAGE-type variable as the value of an attribute or a text node.
Addition of two new functions in the VaCrysRT DLL:
The VaSetDisplayProgressDialog function is used to enable or disable the progress window's display when generating a Crystal Reports-type report.
The VaGetDisplayProgressDialog function is used to know whether or not the progress window's display is enabled.
VaToolBx DLL:
Addition of the dsn, ack and logfile options in the VaToolBxSendMailSMTP function.
Addition of the VaToolBxFileSize function, which returns the size of a file.
