Access
To create a JIRA request:
choose the Create option of the context-sensitive menu in the list of tasks JIRA in 4GL editor, or
choose the Create option in the dialog box used for managing JIRA requests associated with a correction.
Note: The Create option is only available if the user has the CREATE_ISSUE right.
Data entered
Project
Specify here the project in which the JIRA request will be created.
Summary
Specify here the subject of the JIRA request.
Type
Choose the request type in the drop-down list.
Priority
Choose the level of priority in the drop-down list.
Initial estimate
Specify here the estimate of time required to process the request (weeks/days/hours/minutes).
Affected versions
Product versions affected by the problem reported in the JIRA request.
Components
Components affected by the problem reported in the JIRA request.
Assigned to
The person to whom the request will be assigned.
Note: The creation box is static and offers certain fields by default. During creation, check that the fields are authorised in relation to the metadata linked to the request type. The non-authorised fields for the request type are ignored.
