To display this page, click the Client context tab in the Execution parameters dialog box.
This tab lets you modify a number of execution parameters for Visual Adelia applications that have client parts generated in Java.
Data entry
Client classpath
Context
All the paths and/or files to be added to the CLASSPATH system variable. This information is used to locate the client parts of Visual programs generated in Java.
Interface appearance

Parameter control
When the application is run, the parameter types are checked for calls to programs and external DLLs (external classes for Java generation).
These controls detect two types of error:
- Major errors: A major error is an inconsistency liable to cause a severe malfunction that could in turn cause the application to crash.
- Minor errors: A minor error is an inconsistency that does not have severe consequences but could produce unexpected results.
You can specify the operating procedure for each type of error:
Message and non-execution
A message is sent to the user, reporting the problem. The external DLL or program call is not executed when the dialog box is closed.
Message and execution
A message is sent to the user, reporting the problem. The external DLL or program call is executed when the dialog box is closed.
Execution
No message is sent to the user. The external DLL or program call is executed.
Error message display
Silent mode
If you check this box, internal error messages are not displayed onscreen. The messages are however still recorded in the trace file with an *ERROR level.
