Access
To access the detail attributes for a section of a page layout, click on one of the Detail buttons in the Define a page layout dialog box.
Check boxes
Background color
Used to specify that a background color is associated with the section.
Click on this box to open the color selection system box. The color selected from the palette is then displayed in the input field beneath the checkbox.
Lists
Height / Width
Value of height (for the header or footer) or width (for right or left sections) for the current page layout section.
The value "0" is for automatic fitting.
The corresponding radio buttons let you indicate whether the value is expressed in pixels or as a percentage (%).
This information is inaccessible for the detail of a central section.
Horizontal alignment
The combo box shows the possible horizontal alignment values for the section: None, Center, Justify, Left, Right.
Vertical alignment
The combo box shows the possible vertical alignment values for the section: None, Top, Middle, Bottom, Baseline.
Resource - Background image
Associates a background image with the current page layout section. The combo box shows, in alphabetical order, all the resources (according to the filter shown) attached to the same application area as the page layout. If this section does not manage background images, indicate the value "None".
The last filters used can be accessed via the right mouse button. Selecting one of these filters loads the combo box with the resources corresponding to this filter. To select a new filter, enter the selection filter directly in the combo box input field, and then press Enter to start loading the combo box with the resources corresponding to this filter.
Data entry
CSS class name
Name of the style class associated with the section of the page layout.
Optional field.
Buttons
Enter/Create/Modify (validation)
The Enter button (in display mode) closes the dialog box.
The Create button (in creation mode) or Modify button (in modification mode) validates the dialog box.
The various fields of the dialog box are verified. If all are valid, the page layout definition is updated in the database before the box is closed; otherwise, an error message is displayed.
Cancel
This button closes the dialog box without validating the choices made.
