To sequence the properties assigned to an object, click the Sequence button in the "Properties" section of the object creation/modification dialog box.
This dialog box displays the list of properties assigned to a repository object. It is used to sequence this list by resequencing its items.
Note: When the dialog box relates to logical properties, an additional button (Display) is available.
Lists
Objects to be sequenced
List of properties assigned to the object in the repository.
When an item is selected in the list, its name and sequence number appear in the input fields located above the list, where they can be modified.
Single-selection list.
Data entry
Seq. No.
Sequence number of the current item, which name appears on the left of this field.
This is an integer numeric value which only support digits ranging from "0" to "9" and the sign "-".
Length: 6 positions maximum (6 integers, or 5 integers and a sign "-").
A sequence number can be negative, but we strongly recommend against this.
A sequencing by steps of 100 is advisable.
Buttons
Modify
This button assigns a new sequence number, entered in the "Seq. No." field, to the item selected in the list.
This button is not active when no item is selected in the list.
Default
This button is used to resequence all the items while retaining their order in the list.
The first sequence number is set to 100, each successive number being incremented by 100.
Display
This button opens a dialog box displaying the general characteristics of the selected logical property.
This button is not active when no logical property is selected in the list.
Important note: this button is only available when the dialog box relates to logical properties.
Sequence (validation)
This button validates the dialog box by saving the new sequence numbers of the listed objects, and closes the dialog box.
Cancel
This button closes the dialog box without validating the modifications made.
