Filters
For all submitted job queues, an input field is available to the right of the title for most of the data displayed, into which a filter can be entered. This filter is a selection criterion which can be used to restrict the submitted jobs displayed in the queue.
By right-clicking on the input field you can get the default list of filters, the list of pre-defined values for the column (if any) and the list of the last filters used.
Default filter values:
[ ] |
None. |
* |
All. |
A check mark in the list of pre-defined values indicates if the value has been selected for display. By default, all are selected.
The "None" filter is particularly useful for clearing all pre-defined values at once.
It is possible to enter the filter you want directly into the input field for data whose values have not been pre-defined.
An alphanumeric filter consists of numbers, letters and wildcard characters ("?" and "*").
Example:
- The VAL? filter in the "Job name" column lists all jobs whose names consist of four characters and begin with "VAL".
- The VAL* filter in the "Job name" column lists all jobs whose names begin with "VAL".
- The *10 filter in the "Job name" column lists all jobs with the suffix "10".
- The *CODE* filter in the "Job name" column displays all jobs containing the word "CODE".
