This command is used to convert macro-instructions into management rules. This procedure involves creating management rules based on existing macro-instructions, and replacing the macro-instruction calls with management rule calls in the program template, management rule and program sources.
To convert macro-instructions into management rules, open an MS-DOS command window and enter the command MITOMR <environment name>.

Rename
Opens a dialog box that lets you rename the management rules associated with the selected macro-instructions.
Only management rules associated with macro-instructions with a conversion level of 0 or 1 can be renamed.
This button is only enabled when one or more macro-instructions are selected from the list.
Note: Double-clicking on a macro-instruction in the list will have the same effect as this button.
Create rules
This button creates the management rules (switch from level 0 to level 1).
Once the operation is complete, an anomaly report will be prepared in the Document editor.
Update sources
This button updates the sources in the program templates, management rules and programs that contain the matching macro-instructions (switch from level 1 to level 2). Any macro-instruction calls will be replaced by calls to the corresponding management rules, associated with the INSERT_MR 4GL instruction.
Once the operation is complete, an anomaly report will be prepared in the Document editor.
The program source update procedure also updates the use of management rules by the programs.
