All of the information refer to the use of the different files during a compilation, whatever their location (AS/400 or PC).

Message file
Name of the message file used.
The message file indicated here becomes the application area's specific message file.
If the field is left blank, the message file used for the application area will be that defined at the environment level.
Default prefix
Prefix which will be attributed by default during message creation, if the "Message file" field is filled.

This button cancels the modifications made and restores the application to its previous state.

Note: A click on the icon 
situated on the upper right-hand corner of the dialog box closes the box (keyboard shortcut: Alt+F4). If modifications were made, a confirmation screen appears.
