Test

This option creates a layout identical to the one generated when the program is run. Any data input fields can be completed and cascading menus opened.

With Child window class windows, the main window created is modeled on the Editor window with no tool bar.

To exit test mode, close the window or press Alt+F4.

Note: You can use test mode to set the default position of window when the program is running. For this, set the preview window to your liking, then while holding down the "Control" button, close the window with the cross. The position is saved in the window coordinates. This operation only works if the window has a title bar and a system menu.

This option opens a dialog box which is used to modify the presentation characteristics in the 4GL Editor.
