Access

To display this page, click the Links tab in the Client configuration dialog box.

This tab is used to associate logical servers with physical servers or server clusters .

The server blocks defined by the source lines assigned to a logical server will be executed on the machine (physical server) associated with the logical server (or on one of the servers of the cluster).

Lists

List of the links between logical servers and physical servers.

For each logical server associated with a physical server, the list shows:

    • the name and description of the logical server,

    • the name and description of the physical, physical HTTP server, or server cluster with which it is associated,

    • which database is to be used on the physical server,

    • the commitment control is ignored.

Note: The commitment control information is only relevant to Adelia Web programs defined in connection conservation mode.

The management functions (create, modify, delete) can be accessed using the context-sensitive menu associated with the list.

Note: To differentiate the types of server used for associations (i.e. physical server, HTTP physical server or server cluster), different-colored icons are used to represent the associations:

- Blue for physical servers,

- Green for HTTP physical servers,

- Red for server clusters.
