This option checks the consistency of the current program, and displays the resulting diagnosis in a list. This result can later be printed or saved.

Generate SSG

This option automatically generates the SSG from the 4GL source of the program. It is particularly used when a program is transferred from the AS/400 in order to be modified with Adelia Studio, or when modifications were directly made on the 4GL source.

Build

This option is only active when a program template was associated with the program when it was created.

This option generates both the program template's 4GL source and a graphical representation of the program.

  • If the program template associated with the program does not contain a Q/A (%xxx) instruction, the program's 4GL source is immediately generated using the program template.

  • If the program template includes Q/A (%xxx) instructions, the Question/Answer programming interface is activated.

Generate data flow

This option generates the data flow of the program from the entries made in the Screen layout manager, in the dialog box called by the Logical entities option of the Transaction menu in the Screen layout manager.

Click here for further information on data flow generation in an ADELIA program.

Reminder: The data flow is not generated for key fields.
