RETURN_CODE is a parameter file section supplied to an EXIT program for use with the Adelia Studio version manager.

Description

Parameter updated by the user. This parameter is read back when the system returns after calling the EXIT program, to determine whether processing (i.e. the validation or reception of an object or authorization of the Set or Cancel "To be validated" action) can continue, requires confirmation or must be stopped.

If this parameter is not updated by the EXIT program, processing continues.

Possible values:

"-1"	processing is interrupted,
"0"	processing continues (default setting),
"1"	confirmation is required before processing can continue; the process compiles the confirmation message using the data associated with the CONFIRMATION_MSG section, only in the case of a Before Validation or Before Reception EXIT program.
