The data flow generation activates or deactivates the data flow on the graphical objects in windows, and generates 4GL instructions for declaring loadings in the DECL_PGM section and instructions making SQL accesses to the data in the initialization, verification and validation sections.
These instructions are placed between marker 4GL instructions BEGIN_STD_DFL and END_STD_DFL.
Warning:
Before generating data flow, all instructions between these markers will be deleted.
Moreover, if these sections contain instructions but do not contain the INSERT_STD_DFL nor BEGIN_STD_DFL / END_STD_DFL 4GL instructions, no instruction will be generated.
Click here for details on the corresponding 4GL instructions.
Note: When the logical entity has a logical server assigned by default, the instructions concerning the entity will be assigned automatically to the logical server.
