To modify a submitted job, select the Modify option from the Jobs general menu or from the current queue context menu, or click on the icon on the toolbar.
Note: to be able to modify a job, the user must have management authority to manage this specific job. If the job is waiting or suspended, any data may be changed. If the job is currently running or is completed, only the archiving mode can be modified.
General settings
Information displayed
Creation date
Date and time the job was created.
Information entered
Owner
Name of the job owner.
This parameter can only be modified by an administrator.
Discriminant type
Job type.
Two jobs for which the same discriminant type has been specified here cannot run at the same time, if the following box is checked.
You can input any type.
Execute only one job of this type at a time
Box checked |
Only one job in progress is permitted for the job for a given discriminant type. |
Box not checked |
Multiple jobs can be permitted for the job for a given discriminant type. |
Activation date
Submitted job activation date and time.
These buttons allow you to increase/decrease the value entered for a unit.
Job state
Submitted job state.
Click on the button to display the list of available states.
Queue
Job queue.
Click on the button to display the list of existing queues. These depend on the job manager configuration.
Priority
Job priority.
Click on the button to display the list of existing priorities.

Archive mode
Mode used for archiving the job after processing.
Click on the button to display the list of existing archiving modes.
Possible values:
"No action" |
The job will not be protected and can be deleted at any time. |

If completed without error, the job will be automatically deleted following its execution. |
Target machine
Name of the machine to which the job is assigned.
Maximum duration
Maximum execution time for the job. This information allows you to configure an alert to be sent to the administrator in the event of this execution time being exceeded.
Advanced settings
Advanced settings are only available to job manager administrators.
Information displayed
Program
Name of the program to be called to process the job.
First parameter
First parameter of the processing program.
Second parameter
Second parameter of the processing program.

Buttons
Enter
This button confirms the information entered, then closes the dialog box.
Keyboard shortcut: Enter.
Cancel
This button closes the dialog box without confirming the information entered.
Keyboard shortcut: Esc.
Advanced
This button displays the submitted job advanced settings.
It is only available to the administrators of the job manager.
