Access
To work with the environment's logical servers, select the Logical servers option in the 4GL Editor's Repository menu.
The dialog box will automatically be opened at the SRV tab.
Notes:
- If the source in the active window is not a VADELIA or SADELIA type program, this option will not appear in the menu. If you click on the SRV tab, the dialog box will be shown completely shaded.
- You can minimize the dialog box by double-clicking on the title bar, which will leave only the title bar visible.
Lists
Logical servers
List of the logical servers in the environment, with their names and descriptions.
Extended-selection list.
You can sort the list in ascending or descending order of the values in a column by clicking the corresponding column heading.
Note: With correction environments, there may be a check mark in front of each logical server name.
- A red check mark indicates that the logical server is held by the default correction.
- A black check mark indicates that the logical server is held by a correction other than the default correction.
Context-sensitive menus
Logical server list
Opens a dialog box that lets you create a logical server.
Opens a dialog box that lets you view or modify the characteristics of the selected logical servers.
This option is only active if one or more logical servers are selected from the list.
Opens a message box, asking you to confirm that you want to effectively delete the selected logical servers.
Once this option has been validated, the logical server list will be updated.
This option is only active if one or more logical servers are selected from the list.
Dedicated presentation
In the document's source view, this option expands the blocks whose lines are assigned to the selected logical server, and collapses any other blocks.
This option is only active if one or more logical servers are selected from the list.
Opens a dialog box enabling the selected logical servers to be held by the default correction.
This option is only visible in correction environments. It is only active if one or more logical servers are selected in the list and the user has a default correction.
