This option lets the user restrict the constant display according to the programs to which the constants belong.
To display constants according to the programs to which they are attached, click the Select button in the Details tab or Translations tab of the Translation manager.
Note: The result of the selection procedure will be displayed in the Translation manager's Details and Translations tabs.

Dictionary constants
If this box is checked the constants in the dictionary (attached to the environment, not the programs) will be displayed.
This box is only active when the All constants box is unchecked.
Note: The dictionary constants created by the user and associated with the environment can be accessed using the 4GL editor.
Lists
Programs
List used to preselect programs from among those extracted in the Translation manager.
A filter above the list lets you use regular expressions to display a selection of extracted programs.
Then browse through this list and select the programs whose constants you want to display in the Details and Translations tabs.

Notes: You can select all the programs in the list by double-clicking a column heading.
You can select or deselect several non-consecutive programs by holding down the Ctrl key and clicking the left mouse button.
Important: The filter applied when this dialog box is opened will be the one defined in the software engineer's preferences.
The filter is only active when the All constants box is unchecked.
Radio buttons
Constants to display
Used to select which of the constants satisfying the selection criteria are to be displayed.
Possible values:
"Translated and untranslated" |
All the constants will be displayed. |
"Untranslated" |
Only the untranslated constants will be displayed. |
"Translated" |
Only the translated constants will be displayed. |
Default: "Translated and untranslated".
Buttons
Display
Validates your selection and closes the dialog box.
The items returned by the selection are displayed in the constant list in the Details and Translations tabs.
Cancel
Closes the dialog box without validating your selections.
Keyboard shortcut: Esc.
Important: Once you have selected your constants, the Find option and the Position to filter in the Translation manager's Details and Translations tabs will only take this selection into consideration. Therefore, you need to make a new selection in order to redisplay all the extracted constants.
