To change the characteristics of the device for which the program layout is designed, click Mobile Characteristics in the Define a Program dialog box.
This dialog box lets you specify the characteristics (screen resolution, Windows CE shell type, etc.) of the mobile device for which the program layout is designed.
Based on these settings, the layout designer will behave in a particular manner (with a specific display format and resolution) for programs that are to be used with a Pocket PC or Smartphone shell.
