To display or modify the accesses of a join entity, select the Access option in the context-sensitive menu (or the equivalent button) in the Join entities tab of the LDM/PDM screen.

Criterion used to read the records which have identical key values.

Selected (properties)
List of properties chosen for the access key.
Click the Delete button to remove them from the list of selected properties.
The sequence of properties in the list can be modified.

Available (properties)
List of properties available to define the access key.
These are all the primary entity's logical properties associated with the specific format (including IBM logical properties).
The primary entity is the first logical entity indicated in the first entity pair forming the join entity.
Click the Add button to add an available property to the list of selected properties.

Buttons
Asc. (ascending)
This button defines the property's read argument in the key.
The read argument is specified in the list located below for each selected property:

Default: column not checked.
This button is not active when no property is selected in the list of selected properties.
Add
This button adds the properties selected in the list of available properties to the list of selected properties.
Delete
This button removes properties from the list of selected properties, and returns them to the list of available properties.
Modify (validation)
This button validates the modifications made and closes the dialog box.
Cancel
This button closes the dialog box without validating the modifications made.
