The errors encountered when generating graphs are classified in four categories according to their severity.
The various error types are classified per descending severity:
Level 1 error
The model contains severe errors. Its transfer on the AS/400 is not possible.
Level 2 error
Incorrect graph. When trying to generate the LDM, CDM errors were detected, or when generating the program, SSG errors were detected. These errors must be corrected (on AS/400 or Adelia Studio). Transfer on the AS/400 is possible.
Level 1 warning
Correct graph. Generations are done, but the graph contains semantic inconsistencies. The software engineer may have some problems. Transfer on the AS/400 is possible.
Level 2 warning
Correct graph. However it contains graphical inconsistencies. These (only graphical) imperfections are not transferred on the AS/400.
These error levels:
- are written before each rule between two points:
". ." |
(Err1, Err2, Avt1, Avt2) |
- are followed by the corresponding version:
WS: |
Adelia Studio |
AS: |
AS/400 |
- and are followed by the error number:
first digit: |
severity from 1 to 4 |
second digit: |
corresponding object |
third digit: |
identifies the error |
