Use the following instruction: "WRITE format" (format = two-character code).
By default, DSPFs are generated with the "Defer write" parameter set to Yes (DFRWRT is a parameter of the IBM CRTDSPF command).
This means that the data display is deferred so that it can be combined with another write operation when requesting a reading procedure. You should therefore consider changing the value of this parameter if you wish to display the format right after a "WRITE format" instruction.
