You can create your own naming conventions using Adelia Studio and the Windows C generator.

  1. This is done by writing eight ADELIA and VADELIA batch programs corresponding to the eight standard naming conventions described above.
Each program must have a specific layout name and parameter list.
  2. Once these programs have been generated, eight DLLs (HSLRZR.DLL, HSLREF.DLL, HARMRE.DLL, HARZRE.DLL, HALRMA.DLL, HALRZA.DLL, HALRDF.DLL, HALRPF.DLL) are created in the C generation objects target directory (directory defined in the environment attributes or in the application area depending on the program's visibility).
  3. These eight DLLs must be copied into a network directory that can be accessed by the same name for all your Adelia Studio development stations (eg. \\Server\\Share\\Directory).

    Note:

    - If all your environments use the naming conventions, add this directory to the path of all the stations.

    - If your environments use other naming conventions, copy the specific DLL to the same directory as the eight generated DLLs (this directory must not be present in the path of the stations which are used).

  4. In the environment attributes' Miscellaneous tab, select the specific DLLs, according to the program type to be generated:

    For Adelia program generation

FCTSPECC.DLL (guide words limited to 15 characters)

    or

FCTSPECC128.DLL (guide words limited to 128 characters)

    For Visual Adelia program generation

USERVA.DLL (guide words limited to 15 characters)

    or
USERVA128.DLL (guide words limited to 128 characters)

Warning: If the specific DLL has been copied into the directory containing the eight generated DLLs, make sure you have specified this directory.
