To display, create or modify the parameters of a management rule, click the Parameters button of the Create/Modify a management rule dialog box.
Important note: This dialog box is only available for PM (Parameter) -class management rules.
Data entry
Description
Description clearly identifying the parameter.
Length: 30 characters maximum.
Mandatory entry.
Length
The parameter's length is not mandatory when the "Type" or "Type and length" controls are not used.
Numeric parameters: 30 positions maximum.
Dec. (number of decimals positions)
The parameter's number of decimal positions is not mandatory when the "Type" or "Type and length" controls are not used.
Numeric parameters: number between 0 and 9.
If this field is left blank, the parameter is alphanumeric.
No (sequence number)
Sequence number of the parameter in the list and in the call sequence.
Number between 0 and 99.
If this field is left blank, the parameter is added at the end of the list. If the number entered is already assigned, the parameter is inserted with the number entered and any equal or greater numbers are incremented so that there are not two parameters with the same number.

Control
Choose the type of control required in the list box.
Optional selection.
Buttons
Add
This button adds the parameter defined in the input fields to the list.
This button is only active when the mandatory input fields are filled.
Modify
This button updates the list by saving the modifications made in the selected parameter's input fields.
This button is not active when no parameter is selected in the list.
Delete
This button deletes the selected parameter from the list.
This button is not active when no parameter is selected in the list.
Enter/Modify (validation)
The Enter button (in display mode) closes the dialog box.
The Modify button (in modification mode) validates the modifications made and closes the dialog box.
Cancel
This button closes the dialog box without validating the modifications made.
