Access

To display the real use of a management rule in the programs, select the Real use option in the context-sensitive menu (or the equivalent button) in the Management rules tab or Management rules window.

The list can be sorted by the program, by the application area or by the type (interactive or batch).

 

Lists

Programs

List of the programs in which Adelia has expanded an INSERT_MR instruction's management rule during generation/compilation. The following information is displayed: program name, type (Adelia or Visual Adelia, interactive or batch), description and application area to which it is attached.

Buttons

Layout mgr

For ADELIA programs or VADELIA batch programs (with reports of Crystal Reports kind):

This button is used to access the Screen Layout Manager or Report Layout Manager, depending on the type of program selected (interactive or batch). An intermediate dialog box is displayed in order to select a program report or transaction.

 

For VADELIA batch programs (with reports of Crystal Reports kind):

This button is used to access the Crystal Reports Designer. A first intermediate dialog box is displayed in order to select a program report.

 

This button is only active if one or more programs are selected in the list. It is not active for VADELIA interactive programs.

 

4GL Editor

This button opens the 4GL source Editor for the selected program.

This button is not active when no program is selected in the list.

 

Generate

This button opens a dialog box which is used to specify the generation language and platform for the selected program, then to generate it.

This button is not active when no program is selected in the list.

 

Enter

This button closes the dialog box.

Keyboard shortcut: Esc.

 

Print list

This button prints all the objects in the list.

 

Hold

This button opens a dialog box enabling the selected programs to be held by the default correction.

This button is only visible in correction environments.

It is only active if one or more programs are selected in the list and the user has a default correction.
