Access

To display the potential use of a management rule in the programs, select the Potential use option in the context-sensitive menu (or the equivalent button) in the Management rules tab or Management rules window.

Sort criteria

The list can be sorted by the Program or by the Application area.

 

Lists

Programs

List of the programs which could contain the current management rule after level 2 generation. For each program, the following information is displayed: program name, description, status of the management rule in the program (used, excluded, partial) and application area to which the program is attached.

Extended-selection list.

 

Buttons

Hold

This button opens a dialog box enabling the selected programs to be held by the default correction.

This button is only visible in correction environments.

It is only active if one or more programs are selected in the list and the user has a default correction.

 

Work with use

This button opens an intermediate dialog box which is used to work with the use of a management rule for the selected program.

This button is not active when no program is selected in the list.

 

Layout mgr

This button opens an intermediate dialog box which is used to select a transaction in order to open the Screen Layout Manager for the selected program.

This button is not active when no program is selected in the list, or for VADELIA or WADELIA programs.

 

4GL Editor

This button opens the 4GL source Editor for the selected program.

This button is not active when no program is selected in the list.

 

Generate

This button opens the dialog box used to specify the generation language and platform for the selected program, then to generate it.

This button is not active when no program is selected in the list.

 

Enter

This button closes the dialog box.

Keyboard shortcut: Esc.

 

Print list

This button prints all the objects in the list.
