This toolbar, located under the menu bar, provides a range of options that can be accessed directly, in the form of buttons.
In general, commands relating to agents require administrator permissions for the Job manager.
The toolbar provides access to the majority of the options on the Queues, Jobs and Agents menu and to some of the options on the context menu for the job queues:
This option opens a dialog box that is used to create a new agent. |

This option opens a dialog box that is used to modify a job or agent that you have selected. To be able to modify a job, the user must have authority to manage this specific job. |

This option deletes the selected jobs or agents. When a job or agent is deleted, the report that is associated with it is also deleted. To be able to delete a job, it must not be running and the user must have authority to manage this specific job. Note: a job that is protected or backed up in the log cannot be deleted directly using this option. It is still possible to force the deletion by simultaneously pressing the Shift and Delete keys on the keyboard. |

This option starts an agent. |
|
This option sends a stop notification to the agent. It differs from the Finish option in that a configurable wait time is defined for the agent to allow it complete its job and shut down correctly. |

This option interrupts the execution of selected jobs, whether they are being executed locally or on another machine, and also terminates all secondary processes that would have been started by the job. This option is only available to administrators or power users. |

This option suspends the selected jobs. To be able to suspend a job, it must not yet have been executed and the user must have authority to manage the job. |
|
This option requests the invalidation of the host process pool. The pending processes are immediately completed, the processes in use will be completed at the end of their execution. This option is only available for administrators. |

This option restarts the selected jobs (those that have been suspended). To be able to restart a suspended job, the user must have authority to manage this specific job. |
|
This option protects the selected jobs from unintentional deletion. A protected job can only be deleted if the deletion is forced. |
|
This option cancels the protection of selected jobs. |
|
This option archives the selected jobs in the history. |
|
This option displays the processing report for the submitted job in a text editor. |
|
This option immediately suspend all job queues. No further jobs are processed. |
|
This option immediately restarts all job queues. Jobs can be processed again. |
|
This option immediately suspends the active queue. No further jobs in this queue are run. However a job in progress will be processed to completion. A red button indicates that the queue has been suspended. |
|
This option immediately restarts the active queue. Jobs in this queue can be processed again. A green button indicates that the queue has been restarted. |
|
This option resets all filters. |
|
This option instantly updates the job queues. |
