The Client/Server configuration, also known as the Middleware Configuration, is used to control how client programs behave when they are run.
With AS/400 servers, the configuration procedure consists in declaring the users (AS/400 profiles).
With Windows servers, the configuration procedure consists in declaring the users and databases.
With client machines, the configuration procedure consists in associating logical servers with physical servers or physical HTTP servers .
