Convert license key
Used to convert a dongle (parallel or USB Smartkey) into a software license.
This option requires a connection to the Hardis site. It is only available if the license installed on the server is provided by a Smartkey dongle.
If the machine fitted with your dongle is different from the machine holding the database server managing your Adelia environments, you must follow the specific license key conversion procedure.
Note: during this operation, the Smartkey dongle is disabled. If you need a dongle to use Adelia Studio version 9.0 or lower, contact technical support to re-activate it.
Configure dongle
Opens a window in which you enter the Adelia Studio dongle's configuration code.
This option is only valid for a Smartkey dongle.
Assign license
Opens a window used to view the licenses available in the information system for your client account, and to select the one you wish to install on the license server.
This option requires a connection to the Hardis site. It is not available when at least one license is installed on the server.
Update license
Used to update the license if it has been modified on your client account (e.g. an extended temporary license). The license is displayed before being installed; you are prompted to confirm to install it.
This option requires a connection to the Hardis site. It is only available if a software license is installed on the server.
Release license
Used to delete the license on the license server in order to make it available in the information system.
This option requires a connection to the Hardis site. It is only available if a software license is installed on the server.
