A column is a control that can be inserted into a LIST object.

when you design an Adelia window. It is represented visually by its header only.

Columns can have various representations, including entry fields, check boxes, combo boxes or images.

At the design stage, if you opt for a "check box" representation, you can select images for each of the cell's different states. These images (13x13 pixels) are the same for all cells in the column. Numerous formats are available, but transparency is not supported.

At the execution stage, list management instructions can be used to add rows to the list. Each cell's properties reflect the properties of the corresponding column. Most column properties can be changed while the program is running. Certain column properties affect all the cells in the column, while others apply only to the cells in rows that are added afterwards.

It is possible to set a filter on the column.
