Important: The context-sensitive menu that can be accessed from the installation list offers the same options as the Installations menu in the menu bar, with the exception of the Exit option.
Create
This option opens a dialog box that lets you create an installation which is automatically linked with the repository.
Details/Modify
This option opens a dialog box that lets you display or modify the general characteristics of the selected installation.
This option is only active when one or more installations have been selected from the list.
Note: The available option will be either Modify or Details, depending on the user's authorities.
Modify | If the user has write authority for the *INSTAL authority at Repository level. Additionally, only the installation owner or software engineers with modification authorities will have access to this option. |
Details | If the user is not the installation owner or does not have modification authorities. |
Copy
This option opens a dialog box that lets you create a new installation by copying the selected installation.
This option will only be active if one or more installations have been selected from the list.
Delete
This option opens a dialog box requesting confirmation before effectively deleting the selected installations. Once validated, the installation list is updated.
This option will only be active if one or more installations have been selected from the list.
Programs
This option opens a dialog box that lets you modify the programs, tasks, and entry points associated with an installation.
This option will only be active if one or more installations have been selected from the list.
Resources
This option opens a dialog box that lets you modify the resources associated to an installation.
It is active if one or more installations have been selected from the list.
Classes
This option opens a dialog box that lets you modify the classes associated to an installation.
It is only active is one or more installations have been selected from the list.
Variants
This option opens a dialog box that lets you modify an installation's variants.
This option will only be active if one or more installations have been selected from the list.
Hold
This option opens a dialog box that lets you hold the selected installations for correction.
This option will only be visible in a correction environment and will only be active if the user has a default correction.
This option opens a dialog box that lets you print an installation's details.
This option is only active when one or more installations have been selected from the list.
The print job is submitted to the Job manager.
Exit
This option closes the Installation program manager.
