This menu is used to perform a number of handlings affecting the objects in the active layout.
Note: Most of the options in this menu can also be accessed from the tool bar.
Cancel
This option cancels the last operation.
Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Z.
Redo
This option restores the last cancelled operation.
Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+Y.
Cut
This option deletes the selected objects and copies them into the clipboard.
Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+X.
Copy
This option copies the selected objects into the clipboard.
Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+C.
Copy names
This option copies the qualified names of the selected objects to the clipboard.
Paste
This option pastes the objects in the clipboard into the layout.
Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+V.
Paste special
This option pastes the objects in the clipboard into the layout, plus any attached object blocks in the program source.
Delete
This option deletes the selected objects from the layout, and deletes any attached object blocks in the program source.
Keyboard shortcut: Del.
Select all
This option selects all the objects in the layout. In the case of layouts with tabs, the objects selected will be all those on the current page. Any objects in the margin will not be selected.
Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+A.
Modify logical origin
This option modifies the logical source of the selected graphical objects. The selection can only contain objects with a Value property.
Find
This option opens a dialog box that lets you find an object in the current layout.
The search can be performed using the object's name and/or its text and/or its associated variable.
Keyboard shortcut: Ctrl+R.
Find next
This option searches the current layout to find the object after the one returned by the previous search.
Keyboard shortcut: F5.
Find previous
This option searches the current layout to find the object preceding the one returned by the previous search.
Keyboard shortcut: Shift+F5.
