Access
To add array elements to the variable monitoring feature, select the Add to monitoring option:
- in the context-sensitive menu for the Visual/Web debugger's Source tab, after selecting the name of an Array variable.
- in the Visual/Web debugger's Source menu, after selecting the name of an Array variable.
- in the context-sensitive menu for the Visual/Web debugger's Variables tab, after selecting an Array variable.
Data entry
Dimension 1
Elements or element groups, separated by semi-colons, to be added to the monitoring for dimension 1 of the array.
Dimension 2
Elements or element groups, separated by semi-colons, to be added to the monitoring for dimension 2 of the array.
This field is only visible for two-dimensional arrays.
Notes:
- An element group is defined by the first and last elements, separated by a dash.
- To add all the elements in a dimension, just leave the input field blank.
Example input:
To add the elements 2, 4, 5, 6 and 8, you need to enter "2;4-6;8".
Buttons
Add to monitoring
This button closes the dialog box and adds the array elements specified in the input fields to the variable monitoring feature.
Cancel
This button closes the dialog box without adding anything to the variable monitoring feature.
